Skills certificate: Accommodation.

Our first 2 days at accommodation we did health and safety procedures. We wrote a test on this subject as well. Then they taught us about all the different types of chemicals and and how to use it.

Types of chemicals:

Swiss- It cleans all the silver ( taps, showerheads etc.) in the bathroom.
Pinegel- You can use it for basically anything.
Bleach- You use bleach to get rid of stubborn stains on linnen. Mostly on white linnen.
Window cleaner- Use this chemical to clean windows and mirrors.
Oven cleaner- It takes care of tough grease in the oven and grills.
Carpet shampoo- Used to clean carpets with a wooden brush.
Descaler- It is a chemical used to clean kettles and take the chalk out of the kettle.
Sunlight liquid- It is used to clean dishes (dish washing liquid).
Furnisher polish- You use it to clean furnisher or polish the furnisher.
Multi-purpose- Used for almost anything. Wipe down counters etc.

Equipment used for cleaning.

Cloths- Green is for polish, blue is for windows and mirrors, yellow is for dusting, red is for toilets only. 
Green dish scrubber. 
Wooden brush. 
Kitchen cloths. 
Bucket and mop.
Broom. 
Protective clothing- Apron, goggles, gloves and mask.
